Client-Based Instructional Video Project
Project Overview
This project transforms a real-world homeowner renovation guide into a structured instructional video series. Using Red Door Construction’s homeowner preparation PDF and web content, I designed and produced an educational experience to help clients better understand how to prepare for a home renovation before construction begins.
The goal was to convert dense written material into clear, engaging, step-by-step learning content for homeowners who may feel overwhelmed during the pre-construction phase.

2. Design
Reorganized the content into a structured learning flow that guides homeowners through each stage of preparation. Planned a multimedia approach using short instructional videos supported by a downloadable PDF guide to reinforce key steps and expectations.
3. Develop
Wrote and adapted instructional video scripts based on the original Red Door Construction guide.
Created a supporting PDF checklist-style guide for homeowners.
Produced video content that simplifies technical construction information into clear, actionable steps for clients.4. Evaluate
Reviewed the clarity and usability of both the video and PDF materials to ensure homeowners could easily understand and apply the information. Refined structure and messaging to improve flow, accessibility, and overall client readiness.
This project demonstrates my ability to transform client documentation into structured, multimedia learning experiences that improve communication, reduce client uncertainty, and support real-world service delivery.
